The ruins of the castle in my hometown Elbingerode/Harz (Germany).
The playground of my childhood.
The castle was build about 800 years ago and is in ruins since 1753. It burned down in a huge fire together with large parts of the city. Now it is used as a park.
The picture was taken from a window of my parent's house.

.Allow me to begin with the positive. I love the contrast of the stone wall with the snow and the sky. The colors are great.
However, I can't really figure out what the focal point is. I feel like there's too much to look at and it distracts from the composition. I'm just looking around at everything and can't really figure out what you're trying to get across. Enlighten me?
